Three days before Macao's return to the motherland, five affectionate killers. The killer A he (Zhang Jiahui) and his wife A Jing (he Chaoyi) return to their hometown with their children who have just completed a month. Ah Huo (Huang Qiusheng) and A Bo (Lin Xuehua) come after A he under the orders of the underworld Lao Daifei (Ren Dahua). But another pair of good brothers Artest (Wu Zhenyu) and A Cat (Zhang Yaoyang) hear the news and come to stop it for the sake of affection. The conflict suddenly broke out in Ahejia and quickly returned to calm. In the end, they decided to make a big deal together to rescue Ah he. At Shaofu (Zhang Zhaohui), they had two choices: assassination omelet Qiang (Lin Jiadong) or snatch a ton of gold. In the end, they chose the former, but they ran into each other in the restaurant, and a fierce battle was inevitable.

澳門回歸前三天，五位情深意重的殺手。殺手阿和(張家輝飾)與妻子阿靜(何超儀飾)帶著剛滿一個月的孩子重返故地，阿火(黃秋生飾)與阿波(林雪飾)奉黑社會老大大飛(任達華飾)的命令來追殺阿和，但另一對好兄弟阿泰(吳鎮宇飾)與阿貓(張耀揚飾)聞訊，為了情義前來阻止。衝突在阿和家突然爆發，又迅速重歸平靜。最後他們決定一起做一宗大買賣來解救阿和，在謝夫(張兆輝飾)那裡，擺放在他們眼前的是兩個選擇：暗殺蛋捲強(林家棟飾)或者搶奪一噸黃金……最終他們選擇了前者，然而卻在餐廳和死對頭大飛不期而遇，一場惡戰難免。
